Cookies, without the tricks.
Essential storage supports the features you use. Optional Google Analytics requires your permission.
Essential session cookie
km_session is a first-party opaque, HttpOnly cookie linking your browser to a server-side account session or temporary guest visit. It uses SameSite=Lax. Account sessions expire after 12 hours; guest visits after two hours. Signing out clears your session. HTTPS connections use a Secure cookie.
Browser storage
km:favourites stores guest favourites on this device and km:motion stores your effects preference. km:round: and km:reminder: session-storage keys keep retry identifiers and reminder timing within this tab. The renderer also uses km: game keys for temporary visual state. None of this storage saves a guest balance between visits.
Your control
Remove browser storage in your browser settings, or remove individual favourites using their heart buttons. Blocking the essential session cookie prevents authentication and secure game requests. Guest balances are not stored in local storage.
Your analytics choice
km_analytics_consent remembers whether you allow or reject analytics for 180 days. This preference cookie does not identify an account. You can change the choice through Storage preferences in the footer.
Optional Google Analytics cookies
_ga and _ga_* distinguish visits only after you allow analytics. They expire after 180 days without extending that expiry on each visit. Rejecting analytics removes these analytics cookies and leaves essential account storage intact. The Google tag script loads on pages with measurement disabled until permission is given. Advertising cookies and personalisation remain disabled.
